Sverdlovsk Regional Court has upheld the sentence for the former head of the tax inspectorate of the town of Lesnoy.

The Sverdlovsk Regional Court panel for criminal affairs has upheld the sentence of former head of the tax inspectorate of the town of Lesnoy (Sverdlovsk region) Sergei Karfidov, convicted in the so-called Yukos affair.

“Thus the judgement has entered into legal force,” reports the press office of the Regional Court.

As was reported earlier, Karfidov was charged with crimes committed while he was in the post of head of the tax inspectorate.
