Chita jail prepares to send parole documents to court
The judge is ready to name a date for the hearings
Vladimir Klyukin, head of the Chita pre-trial detention centre, says that the documents requested relating to Mikhail Khodorkovsky’s application for parole might be dispatched to the Ingodinsky district court on Friday, 1 august. “We shall send them off very shortly and possibly they will already be despatched on Friday,” Klyukin told Interfax-Siberia this Thursday.
Judge Igor Falileyev, who will preside at the Ingodinsky court hearings, will set a date to examine the petition for release on parole submitted by Mikhail Khodorkovsky’s lawyers as soon as he receives the documents from the Chita jail. “The date will be fixed immediately the documents are received from the pre-trial detention centre,” Falileyev told journalists on Thursday.
