Ingodinsky court selects judge
Igor Falileyev will examine Khodorkovsky’s parole petition.
The Ingodinsky district court in Chita is now processing the petition submitted on behalf of Mikhail Khodorkovsky by his lawyers for his release on parole from imprisonment in accordance with the sentence for his first case. “Judge Igor Falileyev will examine the petition for parole submitted by Khodorkovsky’s lawyers,” the judge’s assistant told Interfax-Siberia on Thursday. “A date for the hearing has not yet been fixed.”

The Ingodinsky district court in Chita may examine Khodorkovsky’s petition for release on parole during the course of a month, Judge Igor Falileyev told RIA Novosti news agency. “There are no procedural deadlines to setting the date of such hearings,” Falileyev said. “However, experience shows that such petitions are considered within a month.”
The judge refused to pass n other details of the case before examining the petition, which was received the day before from Khodorkovsky’s lawyers.
