The Press Centre for Defence Attorneys of Mikhail Khodorkovsky and Platon Lebedev was created in June 2004 by private individuals giving voluntary assistance to the attorneys.

Our first priority is to keep the public informed about the criminal prosecution to which Khodorokovsky and Lebedev are being subjected. We are responsible for links with the mass media, assist journalists to obtain information about the court case, and organise and conduct press conferences for the attorneys of Khodorkovsky and Lebedev. We also answer hundreds of phone calls and letters from people who support Khodorkovsky and Lebedev.

Our activity is non-commercial and in our work we are pursuing no political aims. We are simply telling people the truth.
